The Cobb Community Foundation says it is prepared to award a total of $100,000 this year to local nonprofits. These grants — which range from $5,000 to $10,000 each — will be awarded for the creation of new programs and the expansion of existing programs that improve quality of life in the county. To be eligible, organizations must provide services in Cobb County or provide services primarily to Cobb County residents. For more information, visit cobbfoundation.org.
