WellStar Acworth Health Park’s new, state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center opened recently, featuring three operating rooms, three procedure rooms, and 15 pre-op and post-op rooms. The 25,000-square-foot facility is designed to be convenient for residents and to give them a feeling of visiting a hotel versus a hospital, to put patients at ease during procedures.
